For community members who have completed one of our introductory woodshop classes or have participated in our upcoming safety orientation, the woodshop is available for independent project time.

This is your opportunity to bring your own projects to life, utilizing the variety of tools and equipment we have to offer. Whether you're a seasoned woodworker or just starting, our community workshop provides a supportive environment for your creative endeavors.

Who Can Use the Woodshop?

To ensure a safe and productive environment for everyone, access to the woodshop for independent use is available to all community members who have:

  • Successfully completed a Unity Community Centre woodshop class.

  • Have experience using Woodworking Equipement and have attended our mandatory Safety Introduction Session (Coming Soon!)

**There will be a volunteer supervisor who will be there to open/close the woodshop and offer help in case of an emergency. No instruction will be provided

Open Workshop Hours

Come in and work on your projects during our designated Open Workshop hours. Currently we have Drop-Ins on Monday Nights 6:30PM-8:30PM but will be adding more days based on volunteer availability.
