Join our 3-Hour Mini Course designed for woodworking beginners! This short, focused workshop will guide you step-by-step in creating a functional and visually appealing pair of hardwood bookends. You'll move beyond theory and apply foundational woodworking concepts and safe power-tool operation to a rewarding project. By the end of the session, you'll have a completed set of bookends, ready to take home and display proudly on your shelf!


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • Essential Power Tool Safety: Reinforce the safe and proper operation of the bandsaw, drill press, and sanding tools.

  • Material Preparation: Learn how to prepare and mill preselected hardwood pieces to accurate dimensions while understanding grain orientation.

  • Shaping and Layout: Learn to use templates for accurate layout and shaping of your components.

  • Finishing Techniques: Master proper sanding techniques to achieve clean edges and beautifully smooth surfaces.
